Wikki Tourists captain and right back Mustapha Ibrahim has said his side are expecting the toughest challenge against struggling side FC Taraba.
The fourth placed side will host the Jalingo outfit in the Nigeria Professional Football League ( NPFL ) match day 32 clash on Sunday at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium (ATBS) in Bauchi.
Ibrahim said it will be outright tricky facing any struggling side with seven matches on the calendar.
“We have already told ourselves that the clash against FC Taraba may turn out to be our toughest match in the ongoing league season.
“We understand that it’s not the best of fixtures against any team within the drop zone like FC Taraba.
“However, we are doing everything possible to ensure we grab the maximum points on match day.
“We gained a lot of useful lesson sfrom the 0-2 loss at league leaders Enyimba in Aba on Sunday.
“The lessons will guide our approach to the clash against FC Taraba and I believe it will lead to success.
“Of course, we have it as added motivation that a win will greatly help us to close the gap at the summit.
“We still believe that we can be champions as nothing is impossible in the remaining seven matches,” said Ibrahim to supersport.com.
Wikki Tourists are placed fourth on the top flight log on 51 points, seven points behind league leaders Enyimba.
