Leading British female jockey Hayley Turner has decided to retire.
It is understood the 32-year-old intends to quit the saddle at the end of the Flat racing season in November.
Turner, the first female British jockey to ride 100 winners in a year, is expected to make an official announcement on Tuesday.
Turner has ridden two Group One winners at the highest level during her career but is thought to be frustrated at a lack of big rides recently.
