Mario Gotze rules out January move to Liverpool but will listen to former manager Klopp

Mario Gotze has ruled out a move to join Liverpool in the January transfer window but says he is willing to speak to Jurgen Klopp if he wants to bring the Bayern Munich player to England.
Amid reports in German newspaper Bild that claimed Klopp was keen to be reunited with the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Gotze played down claims he was on the verge of quitting Munich three years after he joined them from Dortmund in a £32m transfer.
“I can rule out a move to Liverpool this winter,” said Gotze speaking at Bayern’s winter training camp in Doha. “I don’t know where the rumours about Klopp and me are coming from.
“I have not heard anything. You should ask Klopp if he wants me at Liverpool. If he wants me, he should approach me.”
Gotze has been missing with a hamstring strain since October, and has previously said in Bild that was keeping an open mind about his future withCarlo Ancelotti expected to succeed Pep Guardiola as Bayern coach this summer.
“I have six nice months ahead of me,” said Gotze. “It is always annoying when you cannot play and cannot help the team.
“It is only normal that you think about things like that, but you have to look at the positives and build on those.”
