Mesut Ozil crowned an emphatic 6-0 victory for Arsenal over a hapless Ludogorets with a stunning hat-trick in their one-sided Champions League clash at the Emirates Stadium.

Alexis Sanchez scored a delightful goal in just the 12th minute to set Arsene Wenger’s men on their way, before Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain each got on the scoresheet.

The stage was then set for Ozil to produce a brilliant second-half hat-trick, becoming the fifth Arsenal player to do so in the Champions League.

It was a comprehensive victory for Wenger’s side against opponents who simply could not live with them on the evening.
