Robert Lewandowski scored his second hat-trick and tenth goal within the space of a week as Bayern Munich thrashed Dinamo Zagreb 5-0 in the Allianz Arena. Douglas Costa got the ball rolling after a mistake from keeper Eduardo and Lewandowski bagged his first after a defensive error from teenager Filip Benkovic.
Mario Goetze added a third after Eduardo fumbled his shot before two more well-taken Lewandowski goals completed the rout. Lewandowski’s latest goal-scoring feat means he has scored 10 goals in a span of 184 minutes for Bayern, who have now scored 39 goals in their last 12 Champions League matches.
