European champions Real Madrid have already started building for next season with seven players set to be shown the exit door at the Bernabeu.
Portugal defender Pepe has already confirmed he will leave Real Madrid on a free transfer after 10 years at the club, but he will also be joined by James Rodriguez, Fabio Coentrao, Alvaro Morata, Danilo, Mariano and goalkeeper Kiko Casilla, according to Spanish daily AS.
The sale of Rodriguez is the most controversial move by Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane, who was dropped from Real Madrid’s squad for their 4-1 win over Juventus in the Champions League final.
Cristiano Ronaldo apparently urged James to stay, but the player is ready to move for regular football.
Manchester United have been linked with a £52m move for the Colombian forward, but Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Milan have also been touted with a move for the World Cup star.
There could be also be interest from Old Trafford in Morata, who has failed to unseat Karim Benzema despite scoring 20 goals in their Liga and Champions League-winning campaign.
