Sheyi Ojo goal crowns Liverpool win over Exeter

Sheyi Ojo’s excellent first goal for Liverpool helped his side to a 3-0 win over Exeter in their FA Cup third round replay at Anfield.
Having recently described Christian Benteke has having a long term-future at Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp saw fit to name him in his side against Exeter with a collection of transfer duds and youngsters.
It was another unfavoured first-teamer, Joe Allen, who put Liverpool ahead, turning in a cross at the near post. Liverpool then dominated the game entirely, without scoring again in the first half.
The brightest moment for Liverpool was to see Jon Flanagan on in the second half as a sub, having recovered from a serious injury.
6,000 Exeter fans had travelled to see their side at Anfield, and witnessed Sheyi Ojo’s brilliant first goal for Liverpool, curled into the top corner for Liverpool’s second.
Benteke rescued an inconsistent performance when he set up Joao Teixeira for Liverpool’s third, making for an ultimately easy win.
