Liverpool defender Steven Caulker is unlikely to play for the club again after falling down the pecking order at Anfield.
The Liverpool Echo report that the defender, who is currently on loan at the Reds from Championship outfit QPR, won’t be handed another opportunity to impress under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp before the close of the campaign.
Caulker has endured a torrid period at Anfield and hasn’t been named in any of the club’s 18-man matchday squads since mid-February.
In fact, the ex-Tottenham man has only made four appearances for the club since signing for them on a temporary basis back in January.
Despite manager Klopp opting to rest a number of his key players as his side were beaten at the hands of Swansea City this past weekend, Caulker once again failed to force his way into the first-team reckoning.
