English Premier League side Watford have announced the signing of highly rated Nigerian youngster Isaac Success for a club record fee.
Success, 20, has signed a five-year deal with the Hornets that will see him with the side until the 2020 season.
The former Golden Eaglets player made the move from Granada FC in Spain where he had a great 2015/16 season which prompted a struggle for his signature but Watford eventually won the race to sign the Granada 2015/16 Player of the Year winner.
He scored six goals in 30 La Liga appearances and is expected to continue his football education in England with Watford who also have another Nigerian striker. Odion Ighalo. in their ranks.
Success was a Under-17 Fifa World Cup winner with Nigeria in 2013 and was part of the Nigeria under-20 side to the 2015 Fifa World Cup in New Zealand.
He is Watford’s third signing so far after the Hornets acquired Jerome Sinclair and Christian Kabasele.
