Stoke winger Xherdan Shaqiri will sit out Saturday’s Premier League clash City playmaker David Silva is back in contention after missing the last two games with an ankle injury.

Bournemouth v Chelsea

Eden Hazard is back for the Blues after several weeks out; Bournemouth will be without defender Adam Smith and midfielder Harry Arter.

Aston Villa v Southampton

Southampton captain Jose Fonte and midfielder Victor Wanyama are fit again;Kieran Richardson and Ciaran Clark could be on the sidelines for relegated Aston Villa.

Liverpool v Newcastle United

Liverpool striker Divock Origi will miss several weeks with ankle ligament damage so manager Jurgen Klopp is likely to choose between Daniel Sturridgeand Roberto Firmino up front; defender Kevin Mbabu will return to the Newcastle squad.


Sunderland v Arsenal (2.05pm)

Sunderland defender DeAndre Yedlin is a doubt after he missed training through injury, but Jack Rodwell will return from illness; Arsene Wenger has no fresh injury concerns, but Santi Cazorla, Tomas Rosicky and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are all out.

Leicester City v Swansea City (4.15pm)

Jamie Vardy is suspended for Leicester against Swansea after being sent off in their 2-2 draw with West Ham last weekend; Swansea midfielder Jack Cork has recovered from a facial injury and Leon Britton is in contention to start after missing the last two games with a back injury.
