Weekend team news: Wayne Rooney could return, Eden Hazard a doubt

All the team news ahead of the weekend with Wayne Rooneyset to return for Manchester United while Eden Hazard faces a late fitness test.
SATURDAY
CHELSEA V SUNDERLAND
Chelsea could be without Eden Hazard, who suffered a hip injury in the defeat by Leicester. Boss Sam Allardyce is still without Lee Cattermole and Sebastian Larsson.
EVERTON V LEICESTER CITY
Everton will make a late decision on the fitness of James McCarthy, who missed the last three games with a hip complaint. Centre-back John Stones is expected to be fit, despite a heavy fall at Norwich last week. Leicester full-backJeffrey Schlupp is out for six weeks with a hamstring injury, while DannyDrinkwater is also sidelined with a similar problem.
MANCHESTER UNITED V NORWICH CITY
Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is expected to make his comeback from an ankle injury against Norwich. Midfielder Ander Herrera could also return after a hamstring strain, while Bastian Schweinsteiger serves the second of a three-match suspension. Norwich defender Andre Wisdom has a hamstring injury and will miss the trip to Old Trafford.
SOUTHAMPTON V TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
Southampton striker Graziano Pelle could return to the starting line-up after having an injection to treat an ongoing knee problem. Maarten Stekelenburg’s toe injury means Paulo Gazzaniga will continue in goal. Tottenham could make a late decision on the fitness of Mousa Dembele, who has returned to training after illness.
STOKE CITY V CRYSTAL PALACE
Stoke’s Xherdan Shaqiri faces a late fitness test on the hamstring injury that saw him miss last weekend’s goalless draw with West Ham. Geoff Cameron is also doubtful, while Shay Given, Peter Odemwingie and Peter Crouch all remain sidelined. WEST BROMWICH ALBION V AFC BOURNEMOUTH
West Brom will be without midfielder Claudio Yacob, who remains in Argentina because of a family bereavement. Stephane Sessegnon hopes to be fit enough to return to the squad. Bournemouth striker Joshua King injured his hamstring against Manchester United but is expected to play.
NEWCASTLE UNITED V ASTON VILLA
Newcastle trio Cheick Tiote, Rolando Aarons and Jamaal Lascelles are all in contention after returning to training following injuries. Vurnon Anita andAyoze Perez are both one booking away from a suspension. Aston Villa manager Remi Garde expects to be without captain Micah Richards with the knee injury which has seen the defender miss the last two matches.
SUNDAY
WATFORD V LIVERPOOL – 13:30

James Milner will miss Liverpool’s clash with Watford and could be a doubt for the Christmas fixtures, after feeling discomfort in his calf during training. There are no new injury concerns for Watford and midfielder Valon Behramiand defender Sebastian Prodl could both make their returns from injury. Defenders Tommie Hoban (groin) and Joel Ekstrand (knee) remain sidelined.
SWANSEA CITY V WEST HAM UNITED – 16:00
Swansea caretaker manager Alan Curtis has no new injury worries for his second game in charge at home to West Ham on Sunday.Andy Carroll is likely to miss the game after suffering a groin injury. The England striker has had a torrid time with injuries since joining the Hammers but is not expected to be sidelined beyond Sunday’s game at the Liberty Stadium.
