West Ham fan in hospital after stabbing at Tottenham match

A West Ham fan is in hospital after being stabbed before the Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur at WhiteHart Lane.
Metropolitan Police confirmed a 35-year-old man had been stabbed prior to kick-off.
His injuries are not thought to be serious, but the Daily Telegraph reports that police recovered a knife close to the scene at the junction of Tottenham High Road and White Hart Lane a few hundred yards from the ground.
Both clubs are aware of the incident and are said to be working together to identify the attacker.
It is the latest incident to blight matches between the sides. In 2012 some West Ham fans chanted about Adolf Hitler at White Hart Lane and made hissing ‘gas chamber’ noises, a reference to Tottenham’s strong Jewish links.
Tottenham won Sunday’s game 4-1, with Harry Kane scoring twice, to extend their Premier League unbeaten run to 12 matches.
