Abia Warriors and Enugu Rangers served up a free-for-all in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) in a thrilling six-goal thriller on Saturday.
The two sides battled to a 3-3 draw in a game which served as a perfect advertisement for Nigerian football.
Bobby Clement headed the Flying Antelopes in front after 18 minutes from a Matthew Etim cross.
The Warriors were however level just before the half hour through ‘Kolanut Boy’ Chisom Chikatara, who converted a penalty after Bolaji Sakin was fouled in the area.
Rangers put their noses in front for the second time in the game in the 56th minute through Onoriode Odah but the hosts were to launch yet another fightback.
Chikatara was the man who brought them back on level terms; netting his brace in exemplary fashion in the 68th minute to level the scores for the second time on the day.
The fearsome forward completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot in the 82nd minute to put the hosts ahead for the first time on the day.
Rangers were to have the last laugh however as Chisom Egbuchulam netted at the death to give his side a share of the spoils.
