At least three players are expected to depart Manchesteter United before the Premier League transfer window closes on Tuesday evening.
While talk on Monday centres around the shock arrival of Monaco’s Anthony Martial, the Red Devils are expected to conclude deals for moves away for Adnan Januzaj (loan), Javier Hernandez (permanent) and Anders Lindegaard (permanent).
The trio of exits comes after Northern Ireland defender Jonny Evans joined West Bromwich Albion on the weekend.
Januzaj is reportedly on the verge of joining Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund on a season-long loan while Hernandez and Lindegaard are close to calling time on their careers as Manchester United players.
Despite scoring the winner against Aston Villa in gameweek two of the league, the Belgium youngster failed to impress in the games that followed before ultimately losing his place in the side to Ander Herrera.
Hernandez is tipped to join Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen while Lindegaard will link up with Evans at The Hawthorns.
Hernandez is expected to cost Leverkusen £9 million and will depart the club after failing to take his second chance under Louis van Gaal. The Mexico striker spent last season on loan at Real Madrid but has been a part of the Red Devils squad this season.
Glaring misses against Newcastle United and Club Brugges all but sealed Hernandez’s fate at the club he joined in 2010. “Chicharito” scored 59 goals in 157 appearances for Manchester United.
Lindegaard is expected to join the Baggies on a free. The Danish goalkeeper was a constant bench warmer at Old Trafford after joining the club in 2010 from Aalesund. Lindegaard earned just 29 appearances during his time at the club.
A question mark still hangs over the future of unsettled goalkeeper David De Gea, who has been left out of the Manchester United first team after distracted by interest from Real Madrid.
De Gea is into the last year of his contract with the English giants.
